Broxynet v1 for Gunbot, created by Steven Smith.
Cast your gaze into the inner workings of Broxynet V1. Its origins trace back to early 2019 and was initially built using Autoconfig. Now in 2024, it has emerged into a custom JavaScript strategy.
Broxynet is essentially a 3-in-1 strategy suite, offering a comprehensive
solution for both novice traders and seasoned Gunbot users. Focusing
on three different trading styles, Dollar Cost Average, Gribz and Accumulator, which can be switched interchangeably.
Trading Strategies - Modes
- Broxynet DCA ➤ A powerful dollar cost averaging (DCA) tool featuring three customizable modes—Calm, Normal, and Aggressive—and using a 1:1 buy ratio that doubles each purchase after the initial two, with DU1 and DU2 settings to strategically manage market re-entry.
- Gribz ➤ A grid-style trading strategy that places buy and sell orders at fixed percentage intervals, allowing traders to profit from market fluctuations in sideways or volatile markets by capturing small gains from price movements in either direction. (Behaving like a pure scalp)
- ACCUMULATE ➤ A trading approach that focuses on gradually accumulating cryptocurrency at lower prices by buying during price dips, helping to average down the overall cost without active user intervention.
Broxynet - DCA
Broxynet is a powerfully feature rich, dollar cost average engine, which is built to include three Modes ~ (Calm, Normal, and Aggressive). These modes are preset, but can be easily changed in the GUI for user convenience. Broxynet uses limit orders that are increased using a "buy ratio", the default setting is a ratio of 1:1.
If you have a 1:1 buy ratio, it means that every time Gunbot makes a new purchase, it buys double the amount it bought in the previous step. So, starting from $10 Dollars, the pattern continues as: $10, $10, $20, $40, $80, $160, $320, etc. Each time, after the first two purchases, the bot doubles the previous amount it bought, using a 1:1 buy ratio.
Broxynet implements two DCA entry settings, known as DU1 and DU2. These are percent levels where Gunbot will next enter the market. The first order(s) will be fired on DU1, until exhausted. Then DU2 will set the larger percent move(s)
Gribz - Grid Trading
Gribz - short for Grid-style trading, was included as an innovative approach that deploys a unique grid-based strategy. It facilitates a fixed percentage interval that can be adjusted anytime.
Placing buy and sell orders at regular intervals creates a "grid" of orders, allowing traders to profit from market fluctuations within that range. The strategy works best in sideways or volatile markets, where prices oscillate without a clear trend. It aims to capture small profits from each movement, regardless of whether the market goes up or down.
Accumulator
In contrast to the above modes, Accumulator mode focuses on preserving and accumulating cryptocurrency at lower prices, rather than actively trading it. For instance, consider a trading bot designed to buy Bitcoin (BTC). The bot is programmed to purchase Bitcoin only when its price drops by at least 1% from the last purchase price.
Let’s say the bot first buys Bitcoin at $30,000. If the price drops to $29,700 (which is a 1% decrease), the bot will automatically make another purchase. If the price then rises to $31,000, the bot will not buy again until the price drops below $29,700. This strategy allows the bot to accumulate more Bitcoin while effectively averaging down the overall cost, taking advantage of small price dips without the need for active monitoring or trading decisions by the user.
